If Only We Met Batman...

Yesterday, in Nottingham, we visited Wollaton Hall & Deer Park..  This is where Dark Knight Rises (Batman) was filmed. It was really neat, and had a lot of the rooms set up as if we were in that time period. Although being where a film took place was cool; it is also a Natural History Museum. They had many stuffed animals, some of which I'd never heard of before. I swear a few looked exactly like a dinosaur. The outside of the hall was a HUGE park (miles) in which had many deer. At one point there were 25+ just hanging out in one area. It was pretty unbelievable. This was definitely one of my favorite places...if only we met Bruce Wayne.

 The front view...pretty impressive!
 The backside of the Hall.
Within the park's limits, there was this really big pond with many different types of wildlife. I think the geese had hidden agenda...I ran.
The long trail, and my attempts to be "artsy".
I thought these faces were creepy, but Jeff liked them. There were many all over the outside of the Hall.
This is apparently one of the large attractions within the Museum. The picture doesn't do the size of this guy justice.
Good shot of how outside the Hall is the park and pond. Many people were outside playing games, walking, running, and playing with their dogs.
I always like the large murals within older buildings. What talent!
 Jeff posing for the camera!
I really liked all the stuffed animals. The display in these rooms was really interesting.
 Jeff liked these guys. Shocker...
Proof that many Dark Knight events took place here.
If you look closely, you can tell that this is a gun display.
This was in the main hall entrance. This is the top of the organ.
One more shot of the building. It was up on a big hill, so it was really impressive driving into the park limits to see this on top.
